Dai was born in Niigata, Japan. After graduating from his high school in Niigata, Dai came to Sydney to study commerce and business management.
Prior to joining the legal profession, Dai was working in the restaurant industry as a professional service person, restaurant manager, and sommelier. As a part of his restaurant management training, he had number of occasions to learn about employment and industry relations law, in which he has a keen interest. Subsequently, Dai decided to develop his knowledge of law, and obtained his law degree from University of New South Wales.
Dai first started working at our firm in 2013, and he currently works in the areas of employment law, consumer law, commercial lease and family law.
Dai is also a Certified Sommelier (the Court of Master Sommelier), and he can provide professional advice about wine.
Dai is fluent in English and Japanese.
