Jacky is a lawyer at H & H Lawyers specialising in commercial & corporate law, and dispute resolution.
Prior to H & H Lawyers, Jacky was a qualified civil engineer at a construction and engineering company in Korea. As a civil engineer, Jacky was able to hone his skills in project management and dispute resolution through his active involvement in various high-profile infrastructure and mining projects in Australia, U.A.E. and Korea.
Starting from his first involvement in a highway construction project in Korea, Jacky has obtained and demonstrated a deep understanding of construction / EPC projects throughout his project management experience such as dealing with EOT and variation claims, and developing and maintaining master construction schedule in full scale needed to successfully progress any commercial/contractual issues.
Jacky participated in mining projects in Australia as a project controller/cost engineer where multiple stakeholders were engaged, and his exposure to the mega-mining projects and successful completion of the tasks involved, despite hardships in the projects, prove not only his understanding of Australia’s construction market but also his dedication and loyalty to his work and the organisation.
While working as a project administration manager in U.A.E., Jacky participated in ICC Arbitration proceedings seated in Dubai where he played a key role in preparing evidence by liaising with engineers and lawyers as well as critically analysing and preparing technical documents used for the proceedings.
Since Jacky has embarked on his journey at H & H Lawyers, he has actively engaged in and assisted on various matters involving the preparation of commercial contracts for corporate clients, contractual claims and disputes, debt recovery, corporate litigation associated with property disputes and shareholder disputes.
