Dr Hong is the Chief Operating Officer of H & H Lawyers, overseeing all aspects of the firm’s operations and driving strategic growth and efficiency. With a decade of experience at H & H Lawyers, he has played a pivotal role in optimising internal processes, implementing advanced business systems, and enhancing client-focused legal services. His leadership has been instrumental in building a more structured and efficient operational framework, ensuring the firm’s continued success. Before joining H & H Lawyers, Dr Hong served as Principal Research Engineer at SPL Life Sciences in Korea, where he led teams of experts in research and development (R&D), project management, and organisational strategy. His experience managing high-performing professional teams and developing streamlined operational systems has been a key asset throughout his career. Dr Hong was awarded a PhD from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2013 for his interdisciplinary research in cell mechanics and microfluidics. Prior to his doctorate, he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Ajou University in 2006 and 2008, respectively. His academic background in engineering and advanced research has provided him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which have been instrumental in his corporate leadership and operational strategies.

H & H Lawyers recognized by Australian Defence Force

We are delighted to announce that we have received formal recognition as being an employer of choice in the “Employer Support Awards” which was awarded by the Australian Defence Force. The Employer Support Awards are designed to formally recognise employers committed to supporting reservists in their workplace. H & H Lawyers was nominated in the medium private sector category for the New South Wales region. COO Justin Hong attended the ceremony held at Doltone House on 20 October along with our Finance Manager Anthony d’Arbon who is a reservist of the Australian Defence Force. Anthony said, “The firm has always been supportive of my role in the Defence Force which is greatly appreciated by me and the unit to which I am posted.” We are thankful for Anthony's service to our country.

Justin Hong appointed as Chief Operating Officer

H & H Lawyers is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Hong as our new Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining H & H Lawyers, Justin gained extensive experience in leading and managing teams of professionals as the Principal Research Engineer at SPL Life Sciences in Korea. He has been with H & H Lawyers for the last two years and has proven himself to be highly influential. He displayed an exemplary commitment to his role as the Practice Manager of the firm. As the Chief Operating Officer, Justin will be responsible for management of all operations of the firm and development of new and more efficient business systems for clients.
