We are delighted to welcome Martin Polaine (FCIArb FAIADR) as Senior Consultant at our firm.
A barrister (England & Wales) and arbitrator, Martin is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR). He serves as a Council Member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and Chairperson of its Legal Development & Training Committee.
With extensive experience across civil and common law jurisdictions, Martin’s practice covers:
- International arbitration (commercial and state-investor)
- Public international law (especially international trade/sale of goods and international investment law)
- Corporate and institutional governance, and regulatory and compliance (including corporate investigations, ESG, anti-corruption and financial regulatory)
A published legal author and Teaching Fellow at The College of Law Australia, Martin also advises LexisNexis on compliance and regulatory matters.
